Thanks for sharing, I absolutely loved the parallels you drew between Rick's book and parenting philosophy! I think that's partly why his book resonated so much with me -- universal truths are so pure and can be applied so widely, regardless of whether we identify as a "creative" or not. If you're writing about Rick Rubin meets parenting, you must be one cool parent :)
